After School Program
Your child needs a safe, engaging space after school, and Wunderkind Child Care provides exactly that in San Diego, CA. Our after school program is designed to bridge the gap between dismissal and pickup, offering structured activities, homework support, and enrichment in a caring environment where your child feels at home.
- We create a calm transition from the classroom by starting each afternoon with a snack and time to decompress before moving into guided activities.
- Homework help is available so students can work through assignments with supportive staff while the material is still fresh from their school day.
- Your child participates in language classes and bilingual Russian instruction as part of our enrichment offerings, giving them exposure to new skills beyond standard school hours.
- Creative play, games, and outdoor time keep afternoons active and fun, balancing structured learning with unstructured exploration.
- We maintain open communication with parents about your child's day, progress, and any concerns that arise during after-school hours.
- Flexibility around school schedules and special days means your child has consistent care when you need it most.

“If you’re looking for a preschool where children experience a truly happy childhood, this is the place. The kids spend so much time outdoors in a huge playground, exploring, playing, and enjoying nature instead of being inside all day.”
